So interesting you chose this subject to discuss and offer your perspective. I could totally see how such art could be sly propaganda as you say or a way to earn money selling kitsch. I recall when Virgin Mary was revealed to some children in Medjugorje and tourism boomed, so did religious ”art.” Jana Begovic
