I am in awe over the interesting topics you and John come up with to discuss. Great advice in this show on the advantages of making changes in our style and genre to stay relevant and fresh. It is definitively good to stray away from the comfort zone, at least once in a while. I am currently enjoying finalizing a co-authored academic article and appreciating a drastically different genre and style. But also, when it comes to style, it is something that makes great authors singular and recognizable. For example, Isabel Allende is famous for her masterful narrative style, and that is what I look forward to whenever I read one of her works. By the way, I just read a third book written by a well-known Canadian novelist Wayne Johnston, and, admiring his style and composition, I wondered why I even bothered writing. Jana Begovich
