Emotions like any other vital element of writing needs to be regulated through organization and discipline to allow the writing to not be overtaken in the moment. We strive above all else to create enduring Art. Let us not allow our humanity to stray too far into the chaos that can be this complex world.

Mark, the topic of this show reminded me of Anais Nin's thoughts on the role of emotions in the creative process. She thought that excessive emotions were essential for creativity. Regardless of the amount of emotion, I agree with you that emotions need to be curbed and channeled, or harnessed like the wind power. Looking fwd to your show on grammar Nazis.
